GCMHP starts PFA training for MOH paramedics

As part of the OCHA-funded project of “Provision of Mental Health and Psychosocial support for women, men, Boys and girls affected by Violence in the Context of Demonstration in the perimeter Fence of Gaza Strip”, GCMHP started on Sunday a training course on “crisis intervention tools – mhGap” and ‘Psychological First Aid’ (PFA), targeting 28 paramedics from the MoH.

The training aimed at equipping the paramedics with the skills they need to administer PFA and use the mhGap intervention tools related to traumas, addiction, stress management and self-care.

This training come as one of a series of planned capacity building activities that GCMHP conducts in preparedness to crises situations, and also as part of its social and professional responsibility towards the community.
