GCMHP continues to conduct “Supporting Supporters" sessions with the participation of staff from its community centers and specialists from partner organizations. This initiative is part of the "Providing of lifesaving Integrated Protection Support for Vulnerable Children and Adults in Gaza Strip and the West Bank" project, funded by European Union Humanitarian Aid in partnership with War Child.
The sessions aim to enhance the mental health and resilience of humanitarian workers by providing a safe space for emotional release, sharing experiences, and developing stress management skills. This contributes to reducing burnout and strengthening their ability to continue providing psychosocial support services effectively.
GCMHP believes that addressing the mental health of frontline workers is a fundamental pillar for ensuring the sustainability and quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
