As part of its occupational therapy project, GCMHP conducted a group rehabilitation session at the Deir al-Balah Community Center, targeting 15 beneficiaries. The session aimed to enhance their independence and develop their life and social skills.

The session included a series of interactive activities, beginning with an icebreaker exercise to encourage self-expression and improve communication and social interaction skills. Deep breathing exercises were also conducted to help alleviate stress and psychological pressure.

The session also included a mandala coloring activity, which helps reduce feelings of anxiety and tension and promotes focus and attention. It concluded with a role-playing activity that focused on developing social interaction, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

The participants responded positively to the activities, emphasizing the importance of these sessions in supporting their mental health, boosting their self-confidence, and developing their ability to cope with the challenges of daily life.
