Gaza Community Mental Health Programme launched a series of recreational days for displaced children across the Gaza Strip. During the first week, the activities reached 1,121 children in multiple displacement camps in Gaza City.
The recreational days included a variety of activities, such as group energizing games with puppets, face painting, comedic theater sketches, competitive games, traditional dabke dance, and the distribution of gifts to the children.
These activities are part of an ongoing series that will continue in displacement camps and shelters across Gaza’s governorates in the coming weeks. The initiative aims to alleviate the psychological impact of the ongoing war on children, who are repeatedly exposed to traumatic events.
