GCMHP Hosts Delegation from Humanity and Inclusion (HI)

On Wednesday, 19 February 2025, GCMHP welcomed a delegation from Humanity and Inclusion (HI), including Ms. Nina Schuler, Technical Officer for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support, and Ms. Dalia Skeik, Officer for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support, at its headquarters in Gaza City. The delegation was received by the Director of the Training and Research Department and the Director of the Gaza Community Centre. During the visit, the parties reviewed the current mental health situation in light of the catastrophic humanitarian conditions in Gaza following the ceasefire. They also discussed GCMHP’s ongoing work amidst the challenges and explored avenues for enhanced cooperation between the two organizations, including case referrals, capacity building, supervision, and research collaborations. The visit concluded with a tour of the center’s facilities, providing the delegation with an overview of the service delivery mechanisms implemented by GCMHP.
