“GCMHP Conducts Psychosocial Support Sessions for Children through Drawing and Art”

GCMHP conducted a series of psychosocial support sessions for children in several affected areas and centers.

The sessions included free drawing and color expression activities, providing a safe and enjoyable way for children to release emotions and express their inner feelings through art.

Children created expressive artworks reflecting a mix of hope, longing, and resilience, within interactive sessions filled with encouragement and support from the program’s mental health specialists.

The specialists emphasized that drawing serves as both a therapeutic and diagnostic tool, helping children develop positive coping strategies and enabling them to process trauma in a healthy way.

This activity is part of GCMHP’s comprehensive psychosocial programs aimed at supporting all segments of society, particularly children, people with disabilities, and the most vulnerable groups, through mental health support, recreational activities, and awareness sessions to strengthen community resilience in the face of crises.
